Thank you for your support and cooperation in the collection of the bale assessment fees required by the Georgia Boll Weevil Eradication Act of 1985 (O.C.G.A.§ 2-7-150). We are in the process of verifying and balancing our bale count and assessment collections with the USDA’s Macon Classing Office bale totals. If you are a Georgia-based gin provide the bale counts for both Georgia produced and non-Georgia produced cotton. Gins located outside of Georgia will only need to provide the bale count for Georgia produced cotton. Please respond to the following questions when you have completed ginning 2023 crop year cotton:
